Admissions marketing

Lead student recruitment communications outreach, liaising with digital, social media, video, and SEO staff on various marketing efforts

Admissions team support

Aid admissions staff in communications efforts, such as information session content, WordPress support, email template development, ad management, and conference booth design and support.

Past

Internal communication

Created and managed a monthly internal newsletter for Office of Education staff, sharing office updates, tools/resources, communications best practices, and work-life balance recommendations.

Management and mentorship

Managed a part-time student employee to aid in admissions communications efforts. Led student focus groups. Participated as a mentor for the Public Health Leadership Lab.

Multimedia management

Acted as project manager for Harvard’s production team, working alongside the creative director to manage videos from ideation to dissemination. Led the livestream for major University events, and became the point person for creating accessible multimedia.

Freelancing

Took on a range of roles and projects including articles, email campaigns, and social media management.

Event planning

Organized internal conferences at Harvard: handled marketing, logistics—including location, food, and scheduling—volunteer and speaker coordination, and day-of management.

Executive communication

Compose, manage, and edit communications and speeches on behalf of the Harvard Chan School’s Dean for Education, including orientation addresses, announcements, and other major outreach.

Student communication

Assist the Associate Dean of Student Services and other staff on strategic student communications projects, including commencement, the student handbook, the code of conduct, and related projects for the Office of Student Services.

Podcasting

Launched and managed the Harvard University Apple Podcast page, and established the Harvard Podcaster meet-up group, setting up and leading regular meetings and managing a Slack channel for ongoing conversations.

Teaching

Former adjunct marketing principles professor at Stonehill College. Previously led a weekend writing workshop for Stonehill’s Integrated Marketing Communications master's program. Frequently guest lecture in marketing/communications courses.
